DWF Group’s Chief Sustainability Officer & Partner: Kirsty Rogers

Kirsty is the third recipient of the Sustainable Award for Women Making an Impact (UK), following on from the 2024 category winner, Nicole Broad founder of The Fruit Moth and 2023 inaugural winner, Gaynor Thomasson, founder of Heelz and Toez

We asked Kirsty for her thoughts on women in sustainability leadership and why this Award matters.

“Women in sustainability leadership play a powerful role in shaping a more responsible and resilient future. Across industries and communities, women are often at the forefront of driving change – whether through innovative business practices, grassroots activism, or leadership in policy and education. Recognizing these efforts not only validates their impact but also amplifies their voices, showing that sustainability is not a side issue but a central pillar of progress.”

“Leadership and care for the planet go hand in hand. By celebrating women who champion sustainability, the Inspiring Women Awards  inspires others to follow suit, creating a ripple effect of action and awareness. The true success of a person is measured not only by personal achievement but also by the legacy left for the environment and society.”

If you know of anyone who deserves recognition for her contributions to Sustainability, you only have until 31/12/2025 to nominate!
