Nominations for the 2022 Inspiring Women Awards are now open and will close on 31/12/2021. These Awards seek to recognise the inspiring work and accomplishments of women in the North West of England and North Wales. Increasingly we are receiving nominations from outside that area and have decided to open up the ‘Here come the Girls’ category to anywhere in the world.

The 30th annual Inspiring Women Awards Lunch will take place on 20th May 2022.

We are reviewing the categories for 2023.
Please return in later in the summer for nomination information.

About the Inspiring Women Awards 2022

The 30th annual Inspiring Women Awards Lunch takes place on 20th May 2022. Those attending will enjoy an afternoon celebrating with the women whose inspiring stories will be taking centre stage. Corporate packages with complimentary adverts in the programme and individual tickets are available

Finalists will be interviewed at the lunch by BBC presenter, Michelle Daniel, before the winners are announced, allowing the women to tell their own stories in their own words.

‘Since establishing my business, my focus has been to raise the profile of the honeybee as well as other pollinators and the vital part they play in our ecosystem. To me, this award represents a real milestone and it’s a privilege to be recognised for my work.’

“Winning this award means that all my hard work, sweat & tears have all been worthwhile, it truly amazing that my peers have recognised me as a true Entrepreneur. Four years ago critics said we would never supply the supermarkets but we did it, I hope this award will inspire other women to go into business and not be knocked down by thoughtless people”

Clippy McKenna, Clippys Apples. 2012 Entrepreneur Award winner
