About the Inspiring Women Awards 2025 event

On 16th May 2025, we celebrated the 33rd Anniversary of the Inspiring Women Awards. Over those 33 years we have recognised 100’s of women, giving them a public platform to celebrate their achievements and, in many cases, go on to do even more. The Awards have evolved over the years by introducing new categories and themes, but the heart of the Awards has always stayed the same – giving women a voice. The Inspiring Women Awards will continue to do just that, with public nominations helping us find these extraordinary women and celebrate their achievements. What wasn’t on anyone’s bingo card, however, was Finalist, Kate Valentine turning the room into one enormous choir, channelling their inner Annie Lennox. Her energy was infectous.

The 34th Inspiring Women Awards Lunch will take place on Friday 15th May 2026.

I have been a supporter of the inspiring women awards for many years and I really never thought I would be a recipient of one. The stories and achievements through adversity and courage as well as through endeavour have been something I have greatly admired. To be a winner in a category so close to my heart and one which I am lucky enough to focus on every day was overwhelmingly emotional especially with the support of my wonderful team at the event itself. I left the awards once more feeling humbled by the endeavours of others and so very glad to amongst their number. Thank you.”

“When an event can make you laugh, cry and sing in the same lunch – you know it’s a success. What an inspiring afternoon at the 33rd annual Inspiring Women Awards, founded by Jacqueline Hughes-Lundy and held at The Lowry Hotel.”

“Absolutely delighted that we are once again supporting the Inspiring Women Awards. We are very proud of our relationship with Jacqueline. There are quite a lot of strong links between what we are trying to do as a Business School and The Inspiring Women Awards.”

Professor Chris Pyke, Lancashire School of Business and Enterprise.
