Lets celebrate our Inspiring Women
We all know women who inspire us and often say ‘you should be nominated for an award!’ Yep, ‘been there, said that’, but very few of us actually follow up on those words and nominate.
Maybe its because we think someone else will do it (that somebody is thinking the same) or that you don’t know enough about her (google is a boon for filling in the gaps) or that its time consuming – well yes it can be, but it may well be the best 10/15 minutes you will spend this year.
And the effort will be worth it. At the Inspiring Women Awards, all nominees are contacted congratulating them on their nomination. The feedback from many is surprise and delight – that someone took the time and effort to nominate is often reward enough. So take 5 minutes to think about those women who inspire you and then head over to the website to start the nomination process.
As 2025 Award Winner, Bana Gora commented:
“I was delighted to receive the ‘Here Come the Girls’ award at the ceremony. It was an honour to be in the company of such inspirational women, share our life experiences, and how we are working to overcome systems that don’t work for women. I hope such recognition encourages more such work to be done. It has certainly inspired me to keep working for the benefit of society!”
We have 7 categories from Sustainability to Entrepreneurs, Community to Role Models and everything in between.
Nominating is easy, so let this be your random act of kindness/good deed/thank you. Tips on how to make the best of your nomination can also be found on this page.
Nominations close at midnight 31/12/2025
