Shining a Light on the Next Generation of Legal Talent
Hall Brown Family Law is proudly sponsoring the Inspiring Women Awards (IWA) 2025 for the seventh consecutive year, reaffirming its dedication to empowering women and promoting gender equality.
Claire Reid, Partner/Head of Lawyer Development at Hall Brown Family Law said: “We are privileged to be involved with such a worthy and prestigious North West event to recognise truly remarkable individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment and passion in all they do. It is genuinely inspiring.”
Similarly to the IWAs, supporting women and young talent in business is of upmost importance to Hall Brown Family Law. The firm aligns closely with the IWA’s mission, valuing stories of resilience, achievement, and inspiration.
“The ceremony is also an opportunity for women to share their stories, celebrate achievements, and inspire others, all whilst raising funds for charity and supporting the next generation of young women.
Since inception, Hall Brown Family Law has flourished into a UK-wide business with offices in Manchester, London, Sheffield, Leeds and Birmingham, providing specialist family law services to many throughout the UK.
“This year, we are sponsoring the inspiring female aged 16-30yr category, which seemed a perfect fit, as we employ a number of young women, who too are achieving great things.”
Their work extends to all aspects of family law including, divorce and civil partnership dissolutions, financial settlements, issues relating to children, unmarried couples and cohabitation issues, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, prioritisation of children’s well-being and domestic abuse cases, and Mediation.
The firm work with universities and younger female recruits to support them with work experience and growth opportunities within the legal community.
Claire added: “The Inspiring Women Awards has become a permanent and valued part of our annual events calendar. Learning of the challenges, difficulties or painful situations in life which these women have been through, whilst finding the inner strength to carry on (and achieve amazing things), is truly humbling.
This year, the event celebrates 33 years of recognising and promoting women’s outstanding achievements, with 100s of women having been publicly recognised for their achievements and 1,000s more acknowledged for their dedication, vision and acts of bravery and determination.
“We have been delighted to witness the achievements of so many incredible women celebrated through the awards. The ceremony itself is guaranteed to ensure tears of joy, laughter, but also a sprinkle of sadness; and to remind us all of how many amazing women there are out there.” said Claire.
