We Missed Them on the Day – Three Winners Have Their Say

Three of our 2026 Inspiring Women Award winners couldn’t be with us on the day – but that doesn’t mean they missed their chance to have their say.  Here, they share what winning meant to them, the importance of being recognised, and why celebrating inspiring women really does matter.

“I’m honoured to share that I recently won an Inspiring Women Award in the Sustainability Category. It was wonderful to be recognised alongside some brilliant women driving impact across the UK and beyond.
Behind this win is years of work I’m incredibly proud of:
➔ We’ve supported 130+ climate solutions raise millions in funding, build global partnerships, and achieve commercial-scale impact.
➔ We became a B Corp two years in – ensuring positive impact was at the core of how we operate from the start.
➔ We’ve built industry-leading expertise in sales-aligned marketing, GEO, and LLM use.
Thank you to Jacqueline Hughes-Lundy for such a great celebration, to the incredible team at Adopter and everyone who has been part of this journey so far!” Kat Keddie, 2026 Sustainability Award Winner

“I am incredibly honoured and grateful to have been chosen as this year’s winner of the Women Making Waves Award
Jacqueline and her team are lifting up women in beautiful ways. Thank you for this privilege! Here’s to all the women who are making a difference in the world!” Kayla Tychsen, 2026 Women making Waves Award Winner

“Winning my award at the 2026 Inspiring Women’s awards is a deeply humbling honour and achievement. While the recognition is wonderful and receiving the award from Jacqueline and Deborah was truly “inspiring” the real joy is seeing the impact of MaxTrax every single day.

Created in memory of my only child Max, who loved cycling and being outdoors, his legacy has become a lifeline for not just our community but for others too who come along and have hours of fun. It’s a space built for longevity, designed so that in years to come people can turn around and say I spent my childhood at MaxTrax .. the best times and the happiest childhood memories. I will treasure this award in my heart forever.” Kerrie Rimmer, 2026 Community Award Winner
