She Leads for Legacy is one of Greater Manchester’s most influential leadership movements, dedicated to advancing Black women into senior and board-level roles. Co-founded by Sharon and Afiya Amesu, the organisation has built a powerful ecosystem of leadership development, community, and influence, equipping professionals with the skills, networks, and confidence to thrive.

Its flagship Empowered to Lead Conference is now one of the UK’s largest gatherings for Black women and allies, driving real conversations on equity and progression. Beyond corporate leadership, its civic programmes are shaping a new generation of diverse decision-makers.
