35 Years of Inspiring Women – One Unmissable Afternoon

On 21st May 2027, the Inspiring Women Awards celebrates an extraordinary milestone – 35 years of finding, recognising and giving a platform to remarkable women.
Since the first Awards in 1993, 147 women have become Inspiring Women Award winners and hundreds more have been celebrated as finalists – women whose achievements, courage, ambition and determination deserve to be seen and heard.

And in 2027, we intend to celebrate in style.

The Inspiring Women Awards is no ordinary awards ceremony. Our finalists don’t simply sit nervously at their tables waiting for an envelope to be opened. Every finalist is interviewed before the winners are announced, giving guests the opportunity to hear the extraordinary stories behind the nominations.

Returning Emcee Angela Powers will interview our 2027 finalists live – creating an afternoon filled with laughter, emotion, surprises and those unforgettable moments when a room full of people thinks Wow. Women inspiring women – in their own words and through their own deeds.

And then we’re putting the SHOW into showbiz…

To mark our 35th anniversary, our finalists and guests will be joined by two of the most iconic women in entertainment history – a legendary mother and daughter who between them defined generations of showbusiness.

…will take to the Inspiring Women Awards stage.

 

West End stars Emma Dears and Helen Sheals will bring Judy and Liza spectacularly to life, performing some of the songs that made them legends.
